Donald Choi

Founder, CEO & Managing Director

Donald is the founder of both Foresight Marketing Group LLC and Foresight Capital Advisers, LLC in 2008.  Prior to the formation of these companies, Donald served in both management and senior management positions, and as an Investment Adviser for companies such as New York Life, MetLife and ING.   Most recently, his skills and expertise were served at Allianz as Vice President focused on strategic development and the merging of member FINRA firms with independent insurance wholesaling organizations.  He has served as a past board member for the National Association of Insurance Financial Advisors, Massachusetts.    

Arturo Catapang

President & Managing Director

Art brings more than 30 years of experience developing and implementing effective risk management, underwriting and sales & marketing strategies as a senior insurance company executive, risk management consultant and agency principal.Prior to joining Foresight, Art was Chief Executive Officer of Greenleaf Underwriting Managers and President of Draco Insurance Solutions, Inc. He has also served as the Vice President of Marketing for Lancer Insurance Company, one of the largest specialty transportation insurance carriers in the U.S., and as the Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer for Hanover Insurance Company’s Specialty Division. Art started his insurance career at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. Art serves on several regional, state, and national insurance boards and advisory committees.


David Patterson

Advisor & Chief Actuary

David has spent the majority of his 35 year career as a senior insurance company executive, developing and expanding specialty underwriting and distribution businesses.  He was one of three principals in the 1986-leveraged acquistion of the Providence Washington Insurance Group, where he developed a successful specialty underwriting business in a unique joint venture format with specialty program managers.  He subsequently led the restructuring of the employee benefits and specialty property casualty business at Allmerica (now the Hanover Group) and for the last five years has been responsible for one of the operating businesses at Alliant Insurance Services, a top US Broker.  David is a member of the Casualty Actuarial Society and the American Academy of Actuaries.

James Cahill

Advisor, Capital Markets

Mr. Cahill has been an investment banker for over 20 years and has advised private and public companies from development stage to large multi-national corporations. Prior to Foresight, Mr. Cahill founded McKim & Company in 1998. McKim & Company was a diversified investment banking and asset management firm. As a supervising principal of McKim Capital, Inc., a registered broker dealer, Mr. Cahill managed the firm’s investment banking, private equity and brokerage services to middle market companies. Mr. Cahill has been the principal advisor for capital raising, M&A, restructurings and strategic financial advice. Prior to founding McKim & Company, Mr. Cahill was a Managing Director at both MFR Securities, Inc. and Laidlaw Global Securities where he oversaw the firms’ investment banking activities. Early in his career, Mr. Cahill was with TIAA-CREF managing a $1.5 billion portfolio of investments. Mr. Cahill started his career in the investment banking division of Goldman, Sachs & Co. He is a licensed principal with the Financial Regulatory Authority with Series 7, 24, 51 and 63 licenses. Mr. Cahill graduated from Boston College with a B.A., attended law school at Loyola University of Chicago and Oxford University and received a Masters in Management from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

William Robbins

Senior Vice President

illiam Robbins has served in the financial services and insurance industry for over twenty years.  Bill started his career in both the insurance and securities business at EF Hutton. After going through all the mergers of EF Hutton, Shearson and Shearson Lehman Brothers, Bill pursued an opportunity at Prudential Securities as an Associate Vice President. His duties focused on the sales of the new wrap account, mutual funds and variable annuities to both institutional and retail clients. In 1996 Bill joined Vanguard Capital as a Registered Principal and was introduced to all of the opportunities associated with working for an independent broker dealer. After twelve years working with independent broker dealers and seeing first hand all the market corrections, Bill now concentrates on fixed index annuities and other insurance products with the Foresight Company. Bill graduated from Clark University majoring in economics and currently lives in Boston with his family.
